We've been back from Wufei's since Tuesday evening, but things have… - -Quatre's Journal-

We've been back from Wufei's since Tuesday evening, but things have been a bit hectic and kept both Trowa and I from updating. The gathering was fairly quiet and no one was arrested, which I'm sure disappoints a number of you, but I don't think any of us were in the mood for flamboyance and decadent partying. It was nice just being together, relaxing and talking.

Trowa and I have been dancing around the subject of what we're going to do with ourselves once my transition from WEI is complete for a while now, and while we were at Wufei's, the time finally felt right to [discuss it]. It's going to mean a lot of changes for both of us, and I won't lie, the idea scares and pains me some, but... I think it's the right move for both of us.

Current Mood: excited excited

If you move dirtside, for the love of God and all things slashy, stay FAR AWAY from Arizona. *grumble*

Not that it wouldn't be cool to know you guys are nearby, of course. You just wouldn't want to live here. So not worth it. >_@;;

As for travel - you're making me get twitchy again now. *wry grin* Curiosity and wanderlust are dangerous things. I think the only thing even keeping me in the United States is the fact that I lack the means to fund trips like that right now. If it weren't for lack of money and school obligations, I'd head for Cairo in a heartbeat.

Oh, I'm sure we'll do a tour of the States at some point, including Arizona. We haven't even begun to discuss actual areas to move to, there's just no real hurry, and simply traveling will get me away from WEI as well as the move.

Besides, I have the wanderlust and curiousity, too. *g*

Just make sure you visit AZ in the winter. It's fabulous then. ^____^

As for wanderlust and curiosity - don't get me started. :p There aren't enough years in a lifetime for all the stuff I want to see, even if I had the means. ^^;;

Egypt def. tops the list, though. Along with Athens and Rome. [/Classics N3rd]

*waves* hi, I'm new. Hope you don't mind me jumping in. I was reading back entries and laughing at the stuffed Mickey and I keep pictureing an ad with the two of you that says well now that you have the time and means to travel what are you going to do? To which you of course respond we're going to Disneyland.

There are so many facinating places to see like The Louvre, The Sistine Chapel, The pyramids.... *eyes glaze over*. You definately do not want to come to Arizona this time of year. Its hot, dry and just generally nasty.

A fellow sufferer resident, I see.

*nods* Tucson. Otherwise known as all beach, no ocean.

*shudder*
Phoenix. Right smack dab in the middle of the damned Valley Of The Sunburn. *THUD* Forget sunblock - I just stay inside during the day whenever possible.

Because d00d, vampire!pale is better than lobster!red, y0.

I've never really liked going to Tucson that much. ^^;; No offense or anything - I just think it's too...AZ-ish. It's what you always imagine when thinking of a desert town. >.>

At least Phoenix has a little more of a wannabe-L.A./Cali atmosphere to it. That makes it a bit more tolerable. ^^;;

No offense taken. Phx is without a doubt more of a city and the entertainment options are way more varied. Though we did have bowling for soup play at city limits a couple of months ago. Tucson has delusions of staying a big town when they need to plan and think like a small city. Traffic here is a nightmare. *is through whinning for now*

OH COME ON!!! It's not that bad. I go there every year, ancestors were natives. But yeah, I can see the whole heat stroke in the winter thing. ewwy heat. California can get pretty hot like that too, although it dosnt compare to where you two are.

BY THE WAY! I'm Tara. I used to post here a while back, when this first started out. *gasp* sadly, with the leaving and comming of journalers, lots of info was lost, including mine. OH WELL!

Looking forward to meeting new people.

And congrats to the two boys up there. Have a blast traveling and site seeing! =]

Hi, welcome to our journals.

To which you of course respond we're going to Disneyland.

Actually, we may very well head back there. We both enjoy it, and Mickey needs a friend.

Well, hot and dry suits me just fine, but I'm not certain Trowa'd be very happy with it.

Sweetie, when we say "hot and dry", we mean an average of about 100 degrees. Minimum. As for dry - up until late 2004, the state had been going through a drought for about 10 years. ^_~

You may like hot and dry, but that hot and dry...? o_O

...and what about Bugs? Did Mickey get tired of Bugs? o_O???

Surely the carrot vibrator is versatile enough to keep him sated amused at least a LITTLE longer than that.

^*nods in agreement* Not mention we got all the rain in a 2-3 month period so there was a ton of vegitation growth which is now all dry. Gonna be a lovely year for wildfires. I'm betting Mt. Lemmon goes up in flames again.

^thank you.

^Have never had the pleasure myself but I have heard it is a lot of fun. You can never have too many freinds.

Well, hot and dry suits me just fine, but I'm not certain Trowa'd be very happy with it.

^Trowa sounds like a very wise man to me.

As long as there's somewhere with shade and water, I'll be fine. *smiles*

Wow. Things are really start to change for you guys. Just take it one step at a time, one trip at a time. Now that you have time, why not live for the moment?

I'd recommend seeing Canada you know, as a local I have to, but really, we're expecting snow for May you may not wanna visit. Either way, have fun and be sure to tell us all about the adventures you two have. ^_^

*nods* It's on the list. We aren't going to be leaving immediately, so snow won't be an issue, but I'm ok with snow so long as I know I have a warm place to go back to. It's when it's madly snowing and you have nowhere to sleep that I take issue with the whole mess.
